Routers & equipment
Your routers are where billing meets the network. When you suspend a customer in WIFI.OS, it happens on the router — not just in a database — because the console is actually connected to your MikroTik. The Equipment screen keeps track of the rest of your hardware.
MikroTik routers
Connect each MikroTik router to WIFI.OS, and the console can provision and control it directly:
- Provision a customer — create their hotspot or PPPoE access on the router in one click.
- Suspend and restore — cut off a non-paying customer for real, and bring them straight back when they pay.
- Stay in sync — what the console shows and what the router is doing are kept aligned, so there’s no drift between your billing and your network.
Give a router a location and it appears on the map, coloured by status, so you can see your devices in the field.
Keeping credentials safe
Router credentials are stored encrypted and never shown back in plain text. The connection to your router is a management concern, handled carefully — see the security model in Security & sign-in.
Equipment
The Equipment screen is your hardware inventory — radios, ONTs, antennas, cabling — so you know what you own, what’s deployed, and what’s in stock. Track equipment against sites and customers so a fault or an upgrade starts from an accurate picture of what’s actually installed.
