Takings aren’t profit. The Expenses screen lets you record what the business actually spends — bandwidth, power, rent, fuel, salaries, equipment — so WIFI.OS can show you what you really keep.

Recording an expense

Log an expense with its amount, a category and a date. Keep categories consistent — bandwidth, power, transport, staff, equipment — and you’ll be able to see where the money goes month to month.

Monthly totals

The screen totals your spend for the month at a glance, so you always know your running costs without adding up receipts.

True margin

This is the point of it: with expenses recorded, your reports show true margin — revenue minus real costs — instead of gross revenue that flatters the business. When you’re deciding whether to drop a price or add a tower, you’re deciding on real profit.

Who can record expenses

Expenses are a finance function, so they’re available to the roles allowed to handle money. Like every money-related figure, they stay inside your ISP and are never visible to another operator.
