Leads

A lead is someone who wants internet but isn’t a customer yet. The Leads screen is your sales pipeline: capture every enquiry, work it, and turn it into a paying client — and see on the map where demand is building.

Capturing a lead

Add a lead with their name, phone and where they are. Drop a pin on their location (or use their coordinates) so they appear on the map. Record where the lead came from — a walk-in, a referral, a call — so you learn which channels actually convert.

Working the pipeline

Each lead has a status you move through as you work it:

  • New — just came in.
  • Contacted — you’ve reached out.
  • Converted — signed up; they’re a customer now.
  • Lost — didn’t go ahead.

Only the live pipeline (new and contacted) shows as demand — converted and lost leads drop off the “where to expand” view, because a converted lead is a customer now and a lost one isn’t demand.

Demand on the map

Turn on the Leads layer on the map, and the Heatmap, to see open leads as a density cloud. A bright cluster is a street or estate asking for internet — exactly where a new tower or fibre run pays off fastest. Your sales pipeline becomes a build plan.

Turning a lead into a customer

When a lead signs up, convert them into a client and carry their details straight over — no re-typing. From there they’re billed like any other customer.

Who can see leads

Leads are visible to the roles that sell and support. Technicians can see leads read-only — useful in the field, without letting the pipeline be edited from a phone.
